MetMaps is a business application for visualizing and presenting weather and climate data.

It is a prime tool for professional service providers, media enterprises, researchers or any other business customers in the fields of meteorology and climatology. Typical use cases are now- and forecasting, statistics, evaluations, expertise and many more.

  • MetMaps collects, integrates and displays world wide meteorological big data from open sources as well as dedicated data providers. These are observations, MOS- and model forecasts along with satellite and radar images.
  • MetMaps features intuitive and high performance data handling due to innovative display- and overlapping techniques backed by state-of-the-art architecture. Privacy and security measures are constantly monitored and updated.
  • MetMaps runs browser-based on PC desktops as well as mobile devices, features responsive design and therefore easily adapts to different working environments.
  • MetMaps is able to exclusively import and integrate client side data in a comfortable, fast and secure way.
  • MetMaps develops customer specific graphical user interfaces on request.
  • MetMaps features data export through its own APIs into a vast number of professional applications.
  • MetMaps provides more information as well as trial access through info[at]metmaps.de.
  • MetMaps is sponsoring the Berlin Weather Tournament (www.wetterturnier.de), where participants can register for free time limited access.
  • MetMaps output can be broadcast through social media, radio-, TV- or other presentations without restrictions, however it is not allowed to sub-license or forward content to third parties.
  • MetMaps optionally serves as a climate database which allows you to create statistical reports, charts or comparisons across various times, spaces and weather variables in a quick and easy way.
